Eminent Arrival

We can hardly believe that we'll be welcoming our son in just a few short weeks! Life will change in ways that we can't imagine at this point, but we are looking forward to every moment.

Grandma Patty is coming out on October 4th to assist us in getting prepared - we are grateful to have someone around to remind us that we really won't break him (Thanks Mom!). She'll be here through the birth and the first few weeks after and Grandpa Eric will join us later once the little guy has arrived.

My plan is to work as long as I can - with only 12 weeks leave I want to be sure to have as much time to spend with our little man as possible. So far I have felt good, just a bit tired - I suppose that is to be expected - so lets hope this continues through the final stretch. Matt is also planning to take at least a week or two off after the birth to spend with our boy. We've planned for all that we can at this point, all that's left is for him to arrive - not too soon though!
