Weekend of "Firsts"

It was a big weekend of "firsts" for Talon... We had dinner with the "One Beer's" on Friday night - Talon's first "dinner with friends" so he was sure not to go empty handed. So for those of you concerned by the Chocolate donut on his 1 week birthday, check our the bottle of wine for his 1 month birthday! :) (disclosure: no babies or nursing mothers became intoxicated during the taking of this picture or during any time after)

Then on Saturday we all drove down to Boulder where we had brunch with the Miller's and Talon met John, Laura, Jeff, Svein & Sara. Brunch was so good - too bad Talon isn't able to enjoy solid food yet. Later that day, Talon attended his first tailgate with the Garioto/Nellis/Ellsworth clan - they do it best - and Matt and I attended the CU vs Oklahoma State game later that night. Grandma Patty graciously watched Talon at the hotel - we understand he was a very good boy! Would have enjoyed a better outcome to the game, but what can you do.
